Notes
- 1. Moulton (Blof) is actually in Walsham Hundred.
- 2. In the transcription of the Poll Book the modern spelling of place names has been added in brackets "()" to many of the entries so that a search will find them.
- 3. Alby Toft is possibly Aldeby which is near Toft Monks?
- 4. All the Hundreds and Candidates together with their abbreviations are to be found on the main 1734 Poll Book page.
- 5. Metton is actually in North Erpingham Hundred.
Places with no voters
The following place :-
Mintlyn had no one who lived there and voted because of a freehold in the same place.
Note that many people still voted based on a freehold held elsewhere. An example of this is Mattishall Burgh with no freehold entries but with the following :-
- Joseph Young is under Whitwell (in Eynsford Hundred) because he lives there but claims a vote because of a freehold in Mattishall Burgh.
- Christopher Tooley is under North Elmham (in Launditch Hundred) because he lives there but claims a vote because of a freehold in Mattishall Burgh.
- Thomas Clark is under Little Melton (Melton Parva) in Humbleyard Hundred, because he lives there but claims a vote because of a freehold in Mattishall Burgh.
The Poll book continues with Towns and Parishes beginning with the letter N.
