The Ancient Parish of THORPE BASSETT

"THORPE BASSETT, a parish in the wapentake of Buckrose, 5 miles E. of Malton. Here is a Church of the Establishment, dedicated to All Saints (see Churches for photograph), of which the Rev. Basil Wood is rector, Joint Patrons, Richard Watson, Esq., Mr. Rider, Mr. Thomas Owston, and Mrs. Inchbald. Pop. 156."
