There was a graveyard attached to the 1849 church but this was not used after the opening of the cemetery in Burnley Rd Accrington c1860 The current church on Birtwistle Street does not have a graveyard.

Monumental inscriptions and the burial register of the Machpelah Baptist church have been published by the LFH&HS.
