The Ancient Parish of ROWLEY

"ROWLEY, a parish in the wapentake of Harthill; 3½ miles ENE. of South Cave. The church, dedicated to St. Peter, is a small neat building and the living, which is a vicarage, in the gift of the Hildyard family, is enjoyed by the Rev. Robert Croft.
