- 1. In the transcription of the Poll Book the modern spelling of place names has been added in brackets "()" to many of the entries so that a search will find them.
- 2. (*) The following comment was printed at the bottom of Page 112 - "Query- Of Starston in Earsham Hundred?"
- 3. E. Parson appears to be the occupier of 7 different owners land? The Land Tax records will probably clarify this.
- 4. Names, places etc. in "[]" are believed to be the same entries (but enclosing the different spelling) as printed by R. Bacon in their poll book published for the same election.
Places with no voters
The following places :-
Cranwich and Lynford
had no one who lived there and voted because of a freehold in the same place.
Grimshoe Hundred is followed in the Poll book by Guiltcross Hundred.
