• In 1894 the parish was in the Deanery of Flegg, in the archdeaconry of Norwich.
  It could have been in a different deanery or archdeaconry both before and after this date.
• In 1911 the parish of St Mary, Southtown, was created. It included the "neighbourhood of Vauxhall station". [From Kelly's Norfolk Directory for 1916].
• "At Runham Vauxhall is a Congregational mission hall, seating 200". [From Kelly's Directory of Great Yarmouth for 1921-22].

  Runham Vauxhall is a parish in the East and West Flegg Poor Law Incorporation, constituted under the "Local Government Act, 1894." Here is the terminal station on the Norwich line (via Reedham and Acle) of the Great Eastern Railway. The area is 44 acres of land and 3 of tidal water; assessable value, £2,562 10s.; the population in 1911 was 620.
