Notes
- All shorthand contractions in the document have been reproduced as written.
- Martha Crook (aged 60-64yrs) had what looked like a "tick" or "N" in the last (undisplayed here) column which indicates born in S(cotland), I(reland),or F(oreign) Parts. This appears to be the same Martha CROOK aged 70yrs in 1851 census and born in Breccles?
- In other rate documents the following alternative spellings have been seen which appear to refer to the same people/places:-
Balam/Baalam, Hunt/Thuet, Ludkin/Lutkin. - Thomas HUNT married Elizabeth BAILY 2/Jan/1804 at Illington and these may be one or more of the people listed above.
- The abbreviations are "Do" = "Ditto", "F. S." = "Female Servant", "Ind" = "Independent".
- The following are noted from the Illington Parish Registers of burials and may be the same people listed above:-
Entry 44 - John LUTKIN buried aged 81 years on 22/May/1844
Entry 47 - Mary LUDKIN buried aged 84 years on 22/April/1845
Entry 46 - Thomas HUNT buried aged 79 years on 21/June/1846
Entry 61 - Elizabeth HUNT buried aged 75 years on 31/Oct/1852.
