Notes
- 1. There was also a page of printed text detailing how the form was to be filled out.
- 2. The form had /// ie. strokes marked on each line as each instance of the questions was answered. These strokes (omitted here if present) were then added up to produce the number at the end of the line.
- 3. These are employed as servants in husbandry by occupiers first and second class and by the parish officers - a few as jobbing gardeners.
- 4. It will appear singular that this return should give 105 agricultural labourers, and only 4 occupiers of the first Class but the occupier was absent, 2 are professional gentlemen, 7 are tradesmen and 11 are residents in adjoining parishes.
