- Ledsham was a township in Neston ancient parish, Wirral hundred (SJ 3574), which became a civil parish in 1866.
- It includes the hamlets of Badger's Rake (part) and Two Mills (part).
- The population was 56 in 1801, 94 in 1851, 82 in 1901, 116 in 1951, and 88 in 2001.
