St William of York, Great Lever, Roman Catholic

It was founded in 1936. The current church opened on 8 December 1954.

 

This was for many years a chapel-of-ease to SS. Peter and Paul's. Mass was said in the present school. When a separate parish was established in 1936, Fr. James Fallon was appointed.
