Horncastle

  • The Anglican parish church is dedicated to Saint Mary, built mostly of green Spilsby sandstone.
     
  • Parts of the Church date from the early 13th century.
     
  • In 1859 - 1861 there was a major restoration of the building.
     
  • The Church seats about 700.
