St Ambrose of Milan, Chorlton cum Hardy, Roman Catholic

It was founded in 1932. A new church opened in 1958.

A school-chapel has been built here to serve the new housing estates. The first beginnings go back to 1932 when the school-chapel was first opened and the mission was still attached to Chorlton. Fr. George Motler became the first parish priest.
