- The Methodist Church, Cawood. Alfred William Kendall laid the foundation stone of this church. He was a boy at the time; his dates were 1903 to 1975. The family now live in Australia, and keep in good faith the wooden mallet used for this purpose. Ruth Vassiliou - 2009
