The National Gazetteer of Great Britain and Ireland - 1868
In 1868, the parish of Mounton contained the following places:
"MOUNTON, (or Monckton), a parish in the hundred of Narberth, county Pembroke, 2 miles S.W. of Narberth, its post town. There is no village, only two or three farmhouses. The living is a curacy annexed to the rectory* of Narberth, in the diocese of St. David's.
