The National Gazetteer of Great Britain and Ireland - 1868
In 1868, the parish of Meline contained the following places:
"MELINE, a parish in the hundred of Kemess, county Pembroke, 6 miles S.W. of Cardigan, its post town. It is situated near Precelly Mountain. There is a camp at Pennybenglog. The living is a rectory in the diocese of St. David's, value £140. The church is a small ancient structure. There are National and other schools."
