The National Gazetteer of Great Britain and Ireland - 1868
In 1868, the parish of Llantood contained the following places:
"LLANTOOD, (or Llantyd), a parish in the hundred of Cilgerran, county Pembroke, 3 miles S.W. of Cardigan, its post town, and 6 N.E. of Newport. The village consists of a few farmhouses. The living is a vicarage annexed to that of St. Dogmaels, in the diocese of St. David's. The church is dedicated to St. Illtyd. There are small charities of about £1 per annum.
