"CAPEL-COLMAN, otherwise *LLAN-GOLMAN*, a parish, in the union of CARDIGAN, hundred of KILGERRAN, county of PEMBROKE, SOUTH WALES, 6 miles (S.W. by W.) from Newcastle-Emlyn, on the road from that town to Narberth; containing 142 inhabitants. . . it comprises about 750 acres, of which 60 are woodland, and remainder nearly equally divided between arable and pasture; the surface is undulated, and the scenery, embracing wood and water, picturesque and beautiful; the soil is dry, and the chief produce, corn, butter, and cheese. . . The church, dedicated to St. Colman, from whom the parish takes its name, is a small neat edifice, erected in 1835, partly by subscription and partly by a rate on the inhabitants; it is forty feet in length and twenty-two in breadth, and has a large gallery, and 170 sittings, of which about 120 are free." **Lewis may be wrong here since there is a separate parish called Llangolman
