"At DANYGRAIG is a chapel of ease. St. Joseph's Catholic church, at Greenhill, erected in 1888, is served by Benedictine fathers. The old church, built about 1870, is now used as a parish hall: there is a convent of Ursuline Sisters, who teach in the girls' and infants' schools." - The cemetery, at Dan-y-graig, was formed in 1857, and has cost, including the erection of two mortuary chapels, £15,031; it contains 16 acres, and is under the control of a Burial Board of 6o members
