Wesleyan Methodist chapel, Oxwich Green

• There is a Wesleyan chapel here 1895 (1) and 1910 (2)
• Oxwich Green Wesleyan Methodist chapel, Oxwich Green SS49448607 Built in 1870 ? (3)
• Welseyn Methodist, Oxwich Erected in 1806 William Tucker, Class Leader, Berry Hall, Nr Swansea 1851 (4)
• On the Gower Methodists page for Reynoldston it says "Although Chapels had been built in Oxwich in 1808 ....."
• On the Gower Methodists page for Horton it says "Horton's connection with Methodism dates from Wesley's first visit to Gower in 1768 when he preached and stayed in Oxwich. Between 1770 and 1773 he visited Oxwich again and preached in a number of Gower villages. ......"
• On the explore-gower site gallery section for Oxwich there is/was a picture of a plaque on a cottage which says " The Rev John Wesley lodged and preached in this cottage on 5 occasions 1764-1771"

  The article says it was built in 1871, and was being offered for sale in 1982
