Fatal Railway Accident in Swansea Valley – 1893  - John Ball's Blog  (Under Archives Sept 2018)   "An account of the fatal railway accident that occurred in December 1893 at Ynys-y-geinon Junction, near Ystalyfera in the Swansea Valley near the border between Glamorgan and Breconshire. The incident was caused by a sudden landslip after heavy rain. The deceased was the railway guard, William Meredith of Ystalyfera."
