In 1868, the county of Glamorgan contained the following Extraparochial places

"LLANVITHIN, an extra parochial place in the hundred of Dinas Powis, county Glamorgan, forms a part of Llancarfan, 4 miles S.E. of Cowbridge."
"NASH, an extra parochial place in the hundred of Cowbridge, county Glamorgan, 2 miles S.E. of Cowbridge. Nash Rouse is the principal residence."
"SKERR, an extra parochial place in the parish of Kenfig, hundred of Newcastle and county Glamorgan, 6 miles W. of Bridgend."
"STEMBRIDGE, an extra parochial place in the hundred of Cowbridge, county Glamorgan."
