The National Gazetteer of Great Britain and Ireland - 1868

In 1868, the parish of Solloghodbeg contained the following places:

"SOLLOGHODBEG, a parish in the barony of Clanwilliam, county Tipperary, province of Munster, Ireland, 2¼ miles N.W. of Tipperary, on the road to Borrisoleigh. The soil is good, but susceptible of improvement by draining. Grazing is principally attended to. The living is a rectory forming portion of the benefice of Cullen, in the diocese of Emly. It is in the Roman Catholic parish of Ulla and Solohead."
