The National Gazetteer of Great Britain and Ireland - 1868
In 1868, the parish of Lisronagh contained the following places:"LISRONAGH, a parish in the barony of East Iffa and Offa, county Tipperary, province of Munster, Ireland, 3 miles N. of Clonmel. Frenchpark is its post town. It is 3 miles long by 2 broad. The soil is generally good. The road from Fethard to Clonmel traverses the interior. The living is a rectory in the diocese of Lismore, value £192. The church was built by a gift of the late Board of First Fruits in 1831. The Roman Catholic chapel is united to that of Kilgrant. There is a police station."
