KILNANEAVE, or KILLINAFFE, a parish, in the barony of UPPER-ORMOND, county of TIPPERARY, and province of MUNSTER, 41/2 miles (S. E. by S.) from Nenagh, on the old road from Dublin to Limerick; containing 2136 inhabitants and 4594 statute acres.
Here is Monaquil, the residence of - Atkins, Esq. It is a rectory and vicarage, in the diocese of Killaloe, forming part of the union of Kilmore: the tithes amount to £221. 10. 91/4. In the R. C. divisions it is part of the union or district of Templederry.
