The National Gazetteer of Great Britain and Ireland - 1868
In 1868, the parish of Grange contained the following places:"GRANGE, a parish in the barony of Glenquin, county Limerick, province of Munster, Ireland, 2 miles N.E. of Newcastle, its post town. The village is situated near the old bridge over the river Deel. The surface consists of a good soil. The living is a rectory in the diocese of Limerick, at present vacant. It contains neither church, chapel, nor school."
