In 1868, the parish of Anhid contained the following places:"ANHID, (or Athnett), a parish in the barony of Coshma, in the county of Limerick, province of Munster, Ireland, 1 mile to the S. of Croom. The river Mague forms its eastern boundary. The living is a prebend in the cathedral church of St. Mary, Limerick, value £33, in the patronage of the crown. There is no church.
