In 1868, the parish of Woolengrange contained the following places:"WOOLENGRANGE, a parish in the barony of Gowran, county Kilkenny, Ireland, 3 miles N.W. of Thomastown. The village is situated on the river Nore, and was once the property of Jerpoint Abbey. The living is a rectory united to Burnchurch.
