The National Gazetteer of Great Britain and Ireland - 1868
In 1868, the parish of Ullid contained the following places:"ULLID, a parish in the barony of Iverk, county Kilkenny, province of Leinster, Ireland, 3 miles S.W. of Mullinavat. It is near the banks of the river Blackwater, and includes the wood of Ballinaboley. The living is a vicarage united to Poleroan, joint value £216, in the patronage of the bishop. It is united to Kilmacow in the Roman Catholic arrangement."
