In 1868, the parish of Grangemaccomb contained the following places:"GRANGEMACCOMB, (or Grangeclovan), a parish in the barony of Fassadinin, county Kilkenny, province of Leinster, Ireland, 2 miles S. of Ballyraggel. Bennett's-Bridge is its post town. The living is a rectory in the diocese of Ossory, value with Burnchurch, £700, in the patronage of the crown.
