The National Gazetteer of Great Britain and Ireland - 1868
In 1868, the parish of Clashacrow contained the following places:"CLASHACROW, (or De Glaishcroe), a parish in the barony of Crannagh, in the county of Kilkenny, province of Leinster, Ireland, 1 mile S.E. of Freshford. It lies along the right bank of the river Nore, a short distance on the road from Freshford to Kilkenny, near the river Nuenna. The living is a rect; united with Aghour, in the diocese of Ossory.
