"KILFEIGHNY, a parish in the barony of Clanmaurice, county Kerry, province of Munster, Ireland, 5 miles S.W. of Listowel. Drummoree is its post town. The surface is hilly, and the soil middling, with much bog. A small stream falling into the river Brick drains it towards the W. It is traversed by the road from Listowel to Tralee. The living is a vicarage in the diocese of Ardfert and Aghadoe, value £108, in the patronage of the bishop. Banemore is the principal residence."
