The National Gazetteer of Great Britain and Ireland - 1868

In 1868, the parish of Hollywood contained the following places:

"HOLLYWOOD, a parish in the barony of West Balrothery, county Dublin, province of Leinster, Ireland, 2 miles S. of Naul. Balbriggan is its post town. It is 2½ miles long by 1½ mile broad. The surface becomes elevated in the E. and N.E. It consists of a fair soil. The living is a rectory and vicarage in the diocese of Dublin, value with Naul and another, £111. The Roman Catholic chapel is united to that of Naul. The adjacent demesnes are Damastown and Mallohow."
