BRAMHAM:
Geographical and Historical information from the year 1750.
"BRAMHAM, a parish in the W.R. of Yorkshire."
"BRAMHAM MOOR, in the parish of Bramham, in the West Riding of Yorkshire, is a large fenny ground, near Tadcaster, noted for the Roman military way called Watling street, and for frequent horse-races, Q. Anne having given a gold plate to be run for upon it for the encouragement of the breed of horses in this shire. Here is a stately house, which was built by the late Ld. Bingley."
