| In memory of MARY widow of the late THOMAS SPENCE of Broomfield House, near Northallerton, obit June [4th] 183[8] aged [76] years PR; Mary Spence buried 1838, (born 1762) Mary Barugh baptised 1762 at Birdforth. Mary Barugh married Thomas Spence at Birdforth in 1789. Thomas, 1759 - 1796, is buried at Northallerton. Their son Thomas, 1793 - 1859, was born at Northallerton, farmed at Lund and is buried at Lund. Thomas's grave is here. Mary's brother Richard is here |  |
