"HAZLEWOOD, (or Haslewood), a parish in the hundred of Plomesgate, county Suffolk, 3 miles N.W. of Aldborough, its post town. It is situated near the coast and the navigable river Alde, on the side of which are several sand-pits. The church is in ruins.
