"CORELY, a parish in the hundred of STOTTESDEN, county of SALOP, 4 miles (W. by S.) from Cleobury- Mortimer, containing 566 inhabitants. The living is a discharged rectory, in the archdeaconry of Salop, and diocese of Hereford, rated in the king's books at £5. 5. 10., and in the patronage of the Rev. J. Corbet. The church is dedicated to St. Peter."
