Scarrington is a village, a township and a parish 119 miles north of London, 3 miles north-east of Bingham and 10 miles south-west of Newark. The parish covers about 910 acres.

- By automobile, take the A52 trunk road east out of Nottingham or west out of Grantham. Turn north at Whatton and proceed about 2.5 miles. You should intersect the village of Scarrington.
