A few years ago it came to light that the records for St Michaels Church had gone missing. Despite attempts in the village to find them they have to this day remained "misplaced".
Paul Taylor undertook research to address the problem and after more than three years he has compiled a comprehensive list of the persons who are buried in the churchyard. There are over 1500 names on the list, all in date or alphabetical order.
He would be pleased to carry out authenticated searches of the list for people interested in family history, at no cost.
