St John the Evangelist, Great Stanmore, Church of England

Prior to 1632, the medieval parish church stood on what is now the corner of Old Church Lane and Wolverton Road. It was probably dedicated to St Mary. A new brick church, now a ruin, was opened on the current site in 1632, and replaced by the current building in 1849.
