- Beaumont Leys was in the the Rothley subdistrict of the Barrow-on-Soar registration district.

- The parish was in the ancient West Goscote Hundred in the eastern division of the county.
- This place had been an extra-parochial area until about 1880, when it was formed as a Civil Parish.
