This church was consecrated on Tuesday morning, the service commencing at 10.30. The church is situate in Canal Street, in this town. It is not a new edifice, but was purchased about 3 years ago by the Manchester and Eccles Church Building Society, and has been used under a license ever since as a place of worship.The congregation included Rev P J O'Leary - incumbent of St Jude's, churchwardens - Alfred Binyon and John Spencer.
