It was founded in 1887. The Parish was officially established in 1888, following the consecration of the new church in December 1887. That building was demolished in 1978, as it had become too expensive to repair, through mining subsidence damage. The former church school (originally named the Hall of Ince School) was converted into the church. The building dates from 1875, being an additional building to the first school of 1866, which had been used for worship until the new church was built.
This site provides historical information about churches, other places of worship and cemeteries. It has no connection with the churches themselves. For current information you should contact them directly.
