The church does not have a graveyard. The internal inscriptions were transcribed by Mike Berrell in 2003. Copies are held by the Manchester & Lancs FHS, Manchester Central Library, the Society of Genealogists.

It was founded in 1917. The church was demolished and rebuilt in 2012/2013 becoming the Church of the Epiphany jointly with the Methodists and the United Reformed Church.
