On corner of Paradise Street and Storey Square. Opened 3rd May 1864, a congregation having formerly met at Dalton (according to 'Victoria County History of Lancashire'). Newspaper announcements at its opening were initially aimed at "Welsh captains and sailors frequenting this port". Seats for 300 (according to OS 1:500 map of 1873). By 1898 was "not used regularly" according to Kelly's Directory of Lancashire: in fact it had already been put up for auction on 28 July 1897.
