A small independent group, meeting since the 1990s in the former Sunday Schoolroom adjoining the disused Storey Square United Methodist Church (qv). The foundation stone in the schoolroom wall reads: "Laid on behalf of the Sunday School 1931". The premises were shown on a 1957 Ordnance Survey map as "Maranatha Hall (Church of God)".
