"MANSELL-LACY, a parish in the hundred of GRIMSWORTH, county of HEREFORD, 7 miles (N. W. by W.) from Hereford, containing 287 inhabitants. The living is a discharged vicarage, in the archdeaconry and diocese of Hereford, rated in the king's books at £5. 3. 11., endowed with £800 private benefaction, £400 royal bounty, and £1200 parliamentary grant, and in the patronage of Sir Uvedale Price, Bart.
