"BULLINGHAM (UPPER-and-LOWER), a parish in the hundred of WEBTREE, county of HEREFORD, 2 miles (S.) from Hereford, containing 376 inhabitants, of which number, 112 are in Upper Bullingham, 2 miles (S.), and 264 in Lower Bullingham, 1 mile (S. by E.), from Hereford. The living is a perpetual curacy, in the peculiar jurisdiction and patronage of the Prebendary of Bullinghope in the Cathedral Church of Hereford, endowed with £200 private benefaction, and £800 royal bounty."
