"BARTESTREE, (or Barlestree), a chapelry in the parish of Dormington, and hundred of Greytree, in the county of Hereford, 5 miles to the E. of Hereford, its post town. The living is a perpetual curacy, annexed to the vicarage of Dormington, in the diocese of Hereford. The church is dedicated to St. James."
