"TOLLESBURY is a village near the Blackwater estuary, in Thurstable Hundred, Maldon Union, Rochester bishopric, North Essex, 9 miles east-north-east of Maldon, 48 from London, 10 south-east from Witham, 12 south from Colchester, and 9 south-east from Kelvedon and the Eastern Counties railway. . .
