"EASTER (HIGH), a parish in the hundred of DUNMOW,
county of ESSEX, 5 miles (S. by W.) from Great
Dunmow, containing 819 inhabitants. The living is a
vicarage, consolidated with that of Good Easter, in the
archdeaconry of Middlesex, and diocese of London, rated
in the king's books at £14. 14. 7. The church is dedicated
